This question, and many others were answered yesterday afternoon in the first of two ‘Empowering with Education’ workshops undertaken by the Junior Team, with Sarah McInnes from SEEDS Paediatric Service.
“Sensory integration is the process by which we receive information through our senses, organise this information, and use it to participate in everyday activities.”
Sensory integration is vital for our students to be able to function well and achieve their best. Learning about practical strategies to support learning, also allows us to partner with parents, to enable all children to thrive.
Talk to any of the Junior School Team if you would like any more information.
We have some excellent resources from the workshop that we would be happy to share.
