No…This is not the Latest Store-Bought Board Game!

It’s Elliot and Michaela’s Mineopoly!

This term in History, Stage 3 have been learning about the growth of the Australian colonies, including the Gold Rush. One of the ‘partner task’ options was to create a ‘Life on the Gold Fields’ board game. This one by Elliot and Michaela was amazing and worth sharing with others. They named it ‘Mineopoly’ and it includes ‘Eureka’ cards and gold licence cards. The places on the board are all names of gold mines from the 1850’s found throughout Australia.
Elliot said “It was really fun to make but it took about 4 hours on top of school time to make.”

Fantastic work Elliot and Michaela.
