Georgia Wows the Crowd on Opening Night

Great costumes, singing, dancing, acting and sets characterised Orange Theatre Company’s production of Hairspray right from the start at Friday Evening’s opening night.

Our Georgia Thomas, in the lead role of Tracy Turnblad, did an outstanding job of portraying the unconventional teenager who challenged the stereotypes of the day, demonstrating acceptance not based on people’s outward appearance.

Georgia is the full triple threat, singing, dancing and acting up a storm, ably supported by a very talented local cast.

Congratulations Georgia on a wonderful production.

Tickets are still available for Hairspray over the next two weeks through Ticketek if you wish to support Georgia and have a great night out.

And while we’re talking theatre, don’t forget to purchase your tickets for our production of Oliver! on June 3rd and 4th @ Orange Civic Theatre, through Ticketek.
