This week we have presented in the primary and the secondary assemblies, and there is a growing sense that we have a whole community behind us. We are loving that fact that people are encouraging us and praying for the mission even in our preparation.
We still have one major fundraising event to go before we head off. Next Saturday 6 June, from 8am—4pm, at Bunnings Orange store, we will be involved in a fundraising sausage sizzle. You can help us in two ways at this event.
- By simply stopping by on your long weekend and visiting Bunnings and purchasing a sausage sandwich or two.
- By helping us man the stand. If you are able to help please give me a call on 0434 514 534 by Thursday at the latest. We are splitting the roster into 4 x 2 hour shifts throughout the day, so even if you can only make 2 hours that would be fantastic.
On other exciting news, we have had another addition to our team. Aaron Chapman-Mortimer, a previous OCS 2013 Fiji mission student, has been a late addition to the team. So we welcome him and ask that you pray for the eleven of us as we continue to prepare.
Thanks again for all your support.
Fiji mission trip 2015 team leader.
