Our School

Orange Christian School is a Christian parent-owned school located in the central west of NSW, preparing students for a life of on-going learning and service to the community. OCS is the original low-fee Christian school in Orange, pioneered and sustained by local parents.

Orange Christian School is registered and accredited by the NSW Board of Studies and prepares children for the School Certificate and the Higher School Certificate. The school teaches the NSW syllabus and encourages students, in an age-relevant way, to consider the place of God in their lives and learning. We think it important that children value learning and achieve their academic best whilst developing discernment and critical thinking.

The vision of Orange Christian School is for a school that meets the needs of students in a community that is small enough for parents, teachers and students to know each other yet large enough to offer sound educational opportunities.

OCS is a school that acknowledges the connectedness of life and learning, faith and action, values and behaviour, and seeks to equip our children to make a difference in their world and to live fulfilled lives.

As a school community, we want to build a strong school, staffed by Christian teachers. A school that will offer future generations of children in the Orange region a sound education in a non-denominational Christian environment.
